Should you weigh your food when tracking in MyfitnessPal? Do want to lose weight without guessing?
Defo try and weigh, because when you are learning it can be really hard to eyeball food portions.
They aren’t that much different but the difference in calories can add up over the week.
The potatoes are both ‘medium’ but the difference in calories is 54cals The mince is about a portion size but the difference in calories are 55 cals
Now if you didn’t weigh the portions and opted for the larger portions at 3 main meals then that’s a total of 327 cals! Now if you did this over the course of a week that’s 2289 extra calories.
Its huge, over the course of a year it could add up to over 100,000 extra cals!
